The name of this wine has its origin in the old way of naming the vineyard from which it comes. Mandolás is one of the vineyards of Oremus, a Hungarian winery founded by Vega Sicilia in 1993. The vineyard is planted with the Furmint grape, the main component of Tokaji's sweets. That's why this Mandolás is so curious, because it is a dry wine.
