Description

Clos Mogador is the great wine of René Barbier and one of the best wines of priorat. A wine of great quality and persistence, an authentic wine, faithful transmitter of the personality of the terroir, with its characteristic aromas of Mediterranean undergrowth. A powerful, corpulent and complex wine, but also silky and very elegant.

Clos Mogador is also one of the few wines recognized as Grand Cru in the area, a Vi de Finca Qualificada, if we use the official terminology of the denomination. It is made from four varieties (mostly Grenache and Carignan, with contributions of cabernet sauvignon and syrah), in an artisanal way, a wine of aging that always suits several years in the bottle. A great wine to enjoy without haste.
